Withering spring bulb plants!

Some people see withering spring bulbs as an eyesore. If it were up to them, they’d get out the pruning shears straightaway and remove such a sight.
Try, however, to wait it out for just a couple of weeks. After all, the withering leaves are serving an important function until they turn really brown.

As they wither, they are still absorbing energy from the sun to feed the bulbs beneath the soil. If you remove the leaves straightaway, you greatly reduce the chances of a second flowering period!
